Okay, this is probably really really cheesey and lame, but i just wanted to try and explain how MCR have just totally altered my life and given me the best friends on here that i could ever hope to have found. Hope my lovely BN friends read it and like it, but if you think it's lame i don't mind if you wanna take the piss lol :o)

My 'Ode' To MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

Words seem somehow meagre

For what I want to say

How your music changed my life COMPLETELY

The thanks I must convey

The first time that I heard My Chem

There was something so unique

That I just stopped to watch and listen

Not dare to move or speak

The video was so theatrical

I'd never seen anything like it before

And the singer, so intense, commanded my attention

I knew I had to hear more and more and more

So I dug and delved and explored the web

Eager to learn about this band

That was when I discovered Buzznet

For me, a 'My Chemical Romance promised land'

I went out and bought your albums

Hadn't done that for many years

The songs reached deep inside me

Invoking something close to spiritual,

Occasionally tears

I identify with many things you've gone through

The loneliness, the fearful feeling of despair

And when I too was in a dark, friendless place

Bullets and Revenge helped lift me out of there

Through Buzznet and its community

I found other people there

Who felt exactly just like me

Common ground we all could share

So it's because of My Chemical Romance

That I now have many friends

And life looks more attractive

And there my poem ends.

Well i'm feeling sooo HAP....HAP....HAPPY! at the moment and it's all because for the last 2 days, good things have been happening!

First that video featuring our beautiful bloke gets posted (oh blimey, the bit in the rain STILL turns me into mush)

And then the world exclusive of Green Day's new song gets aired on MTV

i wonder what tomorrow will bring???.....

I often find myself wondering if you have any idea of the difference you have made to some peoples lives?  How you have given them the motivation they needed to face their demons and find a way.

Yep, that’s right, the competition wasn’t just for Best Rock Band of 2008 or Of The Century, nope, it was for Best Rock Band EVER!!!

With some very strong and also very talented competition, our guys have managed to achieve THE BEST out of 100 other amazing bands!!!

They managed to reach the NO.1 slot, even though they were up against some pretty stiff competition and legendary Rock Bands, such as....

The Who, Iron Maiden, The Sex Pistols, Guns n Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters,  and Green Day ....

Ok, well i was tagged by both Leah & Lynnie to do my Top Ten list of songs that make me SMILE! So, as embarrassing as my list may be compared to theirs, this is it, don’t laugh, i burned a cd of these ages ago, it’s my ‘Happy Songs’ cd, you have my permission to call me a lamer lol

1.   Rupert the bear > it reminds me of when i was a child

Well, basically, i used to own a really groovy fringe that i adored cos my hair is short and spikey but my fringe was long and emo'ish and covered my one eye, i was soooooooo proud of my fringe!

but alas! now part of my lovely fringe that was, is in the dustbin :o(

let this be a warning to all you women out there! never, never, NEVER try to teach your teenage sons how to cook bacon and how to light the gas ring!

I did and now i will always live to regret it. All was going well, until it came to him turning on the gas ring and hitting the ignite button! there was this sudden almighty flash and then the flames shot up into the sky, it blew up into my face and all i was aware of, was my beautiful fringe falling to the floor below and making this little pile of frizzled ash and a wierd smell of burning hair - yuk

So now i have just half a fringe and a frazzly stump! - never again! :o(

Oh Gerard, i didn't find you in my Christmas Stocking but i'm not sad because i have you with me all of the time any way, because you are in my heart and in my thoughts you gorgeos man you!

I think i am one of the luckiest people on the planet because i was able to see you twice this year!! and i know how lucky i am and i really do appreciate it, i talk to people all the time who adore you and have never been fortunate enough to see you perform.

Thanks to you Gerard, i have found something that was always missing from my life....acceptance.  I feel like i am part of something very special, i feel like i finally 'fit in' and through you and your band i joined buzznet and found other fans who feel the same way i feel.

You really help me with everyday life, you give me an escape from the real world when it's being unkind. You lift my spirits when you sing and make me want to dance. You always put a big big smile on my face when i see a picture of you and more than all of that, you give me a reason to look forward to tomorrow. THE GIG, MY FRIENDS & LONDON

Well   it’s  exactly  one  week  ago   today  that  i  went  to  London  to  see  My Chemical Romance.... and i have finally knuckled down to write a journal.

The night before the gig, i went to bed around midnight, couldn’t sleep for excitement and ended up on the sofa, got up at 2am so no sleep there, left my house  at 3.30am and walked alone upto my coach pickup point, very dark, very quiet, a beautiful starry sky. Not a single soul about in the village.  Boarded the coach at 3.50am and i was on my way...

11.20am and 7 and a half hours later and i was finally in Victoria London!

Lorraine and Stephen met me in Victoria and i was blown away by how lovely they were. Lorraine was so organised compared to me, and knew exactly where we needed to go (thank God cos i didn’t ), we caught a tube and in no time at all we were in Greenwich!!!!! We walked to the 02 Arena and the butterflies were doing a double dutch inside my tummy. I couldn’t get over the size of the 02 it’s MASSIVE, we made our way to the gig queue and there was our friend Kat waiting for us in the line.  She  looked so small and so cold. Lorraine and Stephen and Kat took a taxi to our hotel to check in, while i stayed in the line to keep our places, there were only about a hundred people  in front of us so we knew we were gonna be close to the stage :o)

Well, we queued for almost all day but the time went very quickly cos we all got on so well and had lots to chat about. Me and Kat went to a cafe inside the 02 for a quick coffee  and not realising the cafe was called the S & M cafe till we were sitting down with our drinks, that cracked us up. Next thing we knew, all of a sudden all these strange faces appeared at the window and banged on the glass.......it was all our buzz net friends:o)))) .....Lynnie,....Sam....Michele....Leah!!!! it was soooooo wonderful – they came into the cafe and we were all so noisey and we kinda just took the cafe over lol, all the staff came over even the manager to see what was going on hehehe. I think we were amusing all the staff and customers with how we were dressed and how hyper we all were, it was one of those moments you have in your life that don’t come around very often – you know when you just feel so overwhelmed with happiness and emotion and i kinda started to cry.

Well a couple more hours in the queue and we were let inside, we ran to the front of the mosh pit and i couldn’t believe how lucky we were, there were only 2 rows of girls in front of us and we were right in the middle, right in front Of  Gerards Microphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Looked up at the seats area and could clearly see Michele and Leah , so good view of the band and good view of all our friends it was gonna be amazing! Chatted to loads of lovely ppl in the mosh pit they were all so nice. I was determined to hate MSI and then they came out..............OMG THEY WERE INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I loved every minute they were onstage. Jimmy Urine is so good at entertaining and really worked the crowd. I thought their songs were really cool, and OMG LynnZ is absolutely STUNNING!!!!!! I hadn’t expected to like her and i ended up loving her! I shouted out to her all the time and i could hardly take my eyes off her, she is amazing, puts in sooo much energy and effort and she was soooo lovely to the crowd, she even threw some bottled water out into the mosh awww.

And then it was My Chemical Romance’s turn. Jeeez wot can i say???? Everyone who has ever seen them live knows just how you feel when they come on. And OMG GERARD WAY was standing there right in front of me, at the mic, only about 4 or 5 foot away!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no good enough words to tell you how i felt so i am not even gonna try. All i can say is that it was the most overwhelming experience of all my life EVER, nothing else even comes close!  He really is perfect, so handsome, so beautiful, so pretty, so slim, so enthusiastic, so everything! I was soooo close that i could actually see up his nose holes! Lol  i really can’t say more than that really, cos like i said before i just cant find the right words, it was awesome, wonderful, amazing, fantastic and thats putting it mildly.

The ‘Mama’ video that Gerard directed himself was supposed to be released today, but i have had the Kerrang channel on all day on my TV and i haven’t seen any sign of it at all :o(

Does anyone know if there has been a delay in its release or anything?

Kat texted me earlier to say that she got our tickets today omg my anxiety levels have gone up in smoke lol i have been sooo excited all day long that i have made myself feel ill, i have such a banging headache so i have gone to bed for a little sleep.

I'm terrified that i am turning into an old lady that can't take the pace no more EEEEEEEEK my worst nightmare lol

My Chemical Romance singer to make special appearance

Gerard Way to sign copies of graphic novel in UK

My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way is set to make a special appearance in London.

The singer is to sign copies of his graphic novel 'The Umbrella Academy' on November 14 between 12 and 2pm.

The signing takes place at the Forbidden Planet Megastore in Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

'The Umbrella Academy' was written by Way in collaboration with artist Garbriel Ba and cover artist James Jean.

According to a statement, "'The Umbrella Academy' tells the story of seven individuals who were trained at birth to protect the world.

"When the series starts the superheroes have disbanded and gone their separate ways but, after the death of the man who bought them all together, The Monocle, they have to put the past behind them and join forces again to save the world."

Hello  to  all  of  my  wonderful  buzz net  friends.  I  just  wanted   to  say  a  big  THANK  YOU  for  all  of   your  lovely  notes,  the  support  group  went  really  well  and   i   think  it  will  be  a  big  help  to  me.

Yes  it’s  true,  i  really  am  going  to  see  My Chemical Romance  with  Katazza.  I  remember  seeing  how  excited  you  all  were  when  you   first  booked  your  tickets  and  that’s  just  how  i  feel  now.

I  am  so  lucky,  because  not  only  do  i  get  to  see  the  sexy  Mr  Way,  i  also  get  to  meet  some  incredibly  awesome  buzz  net  friends  too -  i  can’t  wait  to  meet  you  there  ladies  :o)

I feel like i am cloud 9 at the moment. I have managed to raise the money to be able to buy Katazza’s spare ticket to see My Chemical Romance in London!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo excited i can barely think straight lol. Getting to see the band is going to be amazing, but as a bonus i get to meet so many of my lovely buzz net friends too YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Thank you soooo much Katazza for letting me go with you, we are going to have so much fun :o)

I was just peeling the potatoes for dinner and i had Kerrang on TV and 'Famous Last Words' video came on and i just stopped what i was doing and turned the TV volume up high and just stood there, not even singing along like i normally do. I just stood there, watching every move Gerard made, every expression on his face, the emotion in his eyes. It was so wonderful and also so weird. I know i tend to be a bit sensitive sometimes, but it was like, i just got this overwhelming wave of emotion come over me. I found myself in bits, really crying. I just had this yearning desire to talk to Gerard, i just felt like, he would understand, he would 'get me'.

It lasted for a few minutes after the song, i've never before had such a strong desire to talk to him. I really look up to Gerard. He's overcome so much with his drinking and depression. I'd give anything to be able to talk to him and tell him how i feel and ask him his advice.  The way i felt was so strong i just had to log on and write it all up in a journal before i forgot how i felt. He really is an inspiration to me. I love that guy so much. He's so amazing, so talented. Just watching him perform is incredible. The effort he puts in, the emotion. He's just so gifted, he can draw, paint, design, sing, write, perform, entertain and yet he remains a genuine person with problems just like the rest of us. He really is my Hero :o)

Is it just me? or does he have a similar impact on anyone elses lives? i hope so, because it really does inspire you to do the best you can.
